Yield Positive is an educational website that offers information and personal stories and insight about becoming a sustainable investor. It enables people to divest from fossil fuels, invest in clean tech, and encourage progress in companies through shareholder activism. Investor pressure, through divestment and activism, is causing oil and gas companies like Shell and Total to commit to targets for net zero carbon and reduced carbon intensity of products. Financial institutions are also feeling the pressure to take climate action. 24% of Barclay's shareholders voted in the 2020 Annual Meeting that the bank should stop financing the most carbon intense products.

Investors can use their money as power to push the world towards the clean energy future. Investor can divest from fossil fuels to make the statement that oil is no longer worth extracting. They can invest in corporations that have committed to reducing their carbon footprint or which produce clean technologies. They can vote in shareholder meetings to push corporations to achieve net zero carbon. Yield Positive enables investors to find and use their power.
