First and foremost, it would be the importance of backing yourself 100% in your career and subsequently building a network of first believers who will back your vision for the future. Followed by the wisdom of giving yourself the space to experiment and take risks, fail fast, accumulate lessons and pivot quickly. In my own experience, I have found that it's the only way to 10x your skillset, knowledge and exposure. I learnt that in the long-term what really makes the cut is having a sheer indomitable will to take a leap of faith when you don't have all the answers, a passion and willingness to learn, and not allowing yourself to be discouraged by setbacks that are inevitable. The final piece of advice that I could give to anyone trying to break into this sector would be to use every “No” you encounter as an opportunity to recalibrate your approach until the feedback turns into a “Yes”, and to be fearless in grabbing the right opportunity when it does come along.
